You’re the Worst Fantasy Football Commish if You Don’t Write Your League a Midseason Report

12th Place: Thomas

Yahoo Career Rating:

Player Profile

  • Spends all his free time at music festivals
  • Is Berry’s younger brother
  • Is god-awful at fantasy football

Is it possible to find out one day that you signed up to play a fantasy football league ten years ago and never even knew about it? Not a rhetorical question, Thomas. I’m asking. Berry will be surprised to hear that Thomas was not only last in points scored through nine weeks (693), but also last place in the standings. Fun fact: Thomas’s worst end of season Yahoo ranking in the league’s history (84th) would only be the 7th worst finish for Bhupen. So, it’s not all bad. I just hope he’s ready to roll into each of his festivals next summer in style, because the loser trophy has Thomas’s name all over it this year.

State of the Union Closing Remarks

In conclusion, it’s my true hope that I was able to bring to this Midseason Report™ positive energy, encouragement, and excitement to each valued member of this league. It is my mission each year as your Commish and – if you didn’t catch it – current champion, to ensure a safe environment where each member is welcomed, accepted, and cherished for being who they are, no matter what their background is or how abhorrently inept they might be personally in every facet imaginable. I will not tolerate shaming, bullying, or pointing out of individuals to make them feel less-than under any circumstances even for the god-forsaken terrible team owners like Bhupen, Thomas, and my dad. But even if you are one of these teams, keep your chin up and remember that you still have a reason to finish the year strong and come back next year. You can still earn that bronze medal.

Thank you for your participation.

Your Commish,

-El Jefe
